I´m very exited to invite you to this special dinner I´m organizing along with a group of talented, creative people from Matmerk, Innovation Norway, Den Norske Matfestivalen and Food Studio.
As a collaboration with local food enthusiasts, fresh thinking chefs, farmers, dairy farmers, producers, fishmongers and butchers we´re putting together a feast, serving food lovers a full local palate in Ålesund. The dinner will be held only two days, at the historic Jervellhuset.

The Taste of Ålesund
Set amongst our beautiful mountains and fjords, our farmers and producers grow and create unique flavours and ingredients. Surrounded by a very special atmosphere, we invite you to an evening in the historical Jervellhuset in Ålesund to showcase the best of what’s local.
We want to take you on a new and unique taste experience. Talented chefs from Restaurant MÅLTID in Kristiansand, Max Hansen, Kasper Nicolajsen and Nicolai Pedersen, will combine forces to create a feast for our intimate gathering. Together with Nils Henning Nesje, local food enthusiast and cook, our team will travel around Sunnmøre to harvest for the evening’s dinner.
We have hunted down local cheeses, the best meat, the fresh fish we are so proud of, and the sunny eggs and delicious fresh cut vegetables in a bid to showcase the best of Ålesund and surrounding areas.
In collaboration with Matmerk, Den Norske Matfestivalen and Innovation Norway, we will serve you exciting flavours from our local produce. Our glasses will be filled by local beer and drinks.
We look forward to celebrating an Ålesundsk feast with you.
The Pop-Up restaurant is only open two days during the Norwegian Food Festival.
